Hello friends, in the previous posts showed you how to control different Stepper / Servo Motor with Siemens S7-200 PLC, today will continue to guide you to control both 2 axes PLC is integrated.

In this Project I use Axis.1 (Q0.0) to control Yaskawa Sigma-7 Servo and Axis.2 (Q0.1) for Stepper motor, I will guide you to control them in the simplest way possible can.

Siemens S7-200 & Stepper/Servo “Wiring Diagram”

Below is the connection diagram between PLC Siemens S7-200 with Stepper, Servo (Yaskawa Sigma-7)

+ Use 2K2Ω resistor to reduce voltage from 24VDC to 5VDC

+ Use Relay to convert PNP to NPN signal.

Siemens S7-200 “Pulse Train Output” Setting

+ SM Locations of the PTO / PWM Control Registers

+ S7-200 PTO/PWM Control Byte Reference

S7-200 “Pulse Train Output” Example

+ Axis.1 Servo On/Off & Move Data

+ Axis.1 Control Run

+ Axis.2 Stepper On/Off & Move Data

+ Axis.2 Control Run
