PLC Omron “Servo Control” Panasonic Minas A6 Tutorial

Written by

Hello friends!
In the previous post, showed you how to use some types of PLCs (both Output PNP and NPN) to control Servo Panasonic Minas A6 by “Pulse Train Output” method.

Today will continue to guide you to use Omron PLC specifically Model CP1H to control Panasonic A6 Servo. With other Omron PLCs like CP1E Series / CP1L Series, you control the same as PLC Omron CP1H

PLC Omron CP1H & Panaonic A6 “Wiring Diagram”

Note: Need to select Model PLC CP1H Transistor Output Types ( Relay Output Types do not support high speed pulse generation), uses Model CP1H-X40DT-D to implement this Project

Below are the basic parameters to be able to control Panasonic Minas A6 by generating pulses from PLC

You can configure the communication parameters according to the table below (Panaterm V6 software used to install Panasonic Sevo Drive you can download the link at the bottom of the article)

PLC Omron “Pulse Train Output” Configuration

PLC Omron CP1H supports control up to 4 axes, but in this project I only use Axis 1 (Pulse Output 0)

PLC Programming

+ Servo On/Off Control
