Hello everyone!
In the previous article, plc247.com guided people to use Weintek’s MT8071iE HMI to control the INVT GD20 inverter via Modbus RTU, today I will continue to guide you to use PLC Keyence to control it.
To be able to use Modbus RTU (RS485) I use PLC KV5500 in combination with Module KV-L21V to communicate with INVT inverter.

If communication distance >50m or communication with multiple slave devices, need to use end resistor 120Ω
INVT GD20 Modbus Configurator
In order for the inverter to communicate with Modbus-RTU, we need to set the following communication parameters:
+ P00.01: 2 (Motor Control via RS485)
+ P00.06: 8 (Frequency Setting via RS485)
+ P00.09: 0 (A Frequency Selection)
+ P14.00: 1 (Slave Address)
+ P14.01: 3 (Baudrate-9600bps)
+ P14.02: 1 (8/1/E RTU)
+ P14.03: 5
+ P14.04: 0
