Hello friends, in previous posts plc247.com guided you to use HMI Kinco to control some Controllers and Inverters through Modbus RTU, today I continue to guide you to control Mitsubishi inverters by this recipe.
The model used in the project is Mitsubishi FR-E720 (applicable to all FR- E700/D700 Series are the same). And the Kinco HMI model used is MT4414TE (all Kinco HMIs are integrated with 1 RS485 Port.)

+ Below is the RS485 communication wiring diagram between HMI Kinco and Mitsubishi FR-E700 (HMI Kinco using COM.0 Port)
Mitsubishi FR-E700 “Modbus RTU” Configuration
To be able to control and monitor the Mitsubishi FR-E700 inverter using the “Modbus RTU” protocol, we need to set the following communication parameters:
+ Pr117: 1 (Slave Address)
+ Pr118: 384 (Baudrate 38400)
+ Pr119: 0 (8bit, stop bit = 1)
+ Pr120: 2 (Even)
+ Pr121: 9999
+ Pr122: 9999
+ Pr123: 9999
+ Pr124: 1
+ Pr340: 1
+ Pr549: 1
+ Pr79: 2 (Last Setting)

HMI Kinco “Modbus RTU” Parameters Setting
We need to set the Modbus communication parameters for the Kinco HMI to be the same as those installed for the Mitsubishi FR-E720 inverter.
