Yaskawa V1000 series inverters feature compact design, high performance, quality and reliability. A new line of inverter technology that allows to control both asynchronous and synchronous motors. The V1000 inverter parameter setting is easy, complying with international environmental standards.
Yaskawa V1000 fully integrates the features of PID, communication, integrated quick stop control circuit. Motor overcurrent protection, undervoltage, overvoltage, overheat… it also has a built-in RS485 port that supports Modbus-RTU communication, today plc247.com will use Samkoon HMI control it through this protocol
Samkoon HMI & Yaskawa V1000 “Wiring Diagram”
Below is the RS485 communication connection diagram between the Samkoon HMI and the Yaskawa V1000 inverter.
Yaskawa V1000 “Modbus-RTU” Configuration
Below are the communication parameters we need to install for Yaskawa V1000 inverter so that it can be controlled and monitored using Modbus-RTU protocol:
Yaskawa V1000 Modbus Registers Address
>>> VFD Control Address = 1 (dec)
+ Set Word 2 = 0000 0000 0000 0001 = 1 >>> Forward Run
= 0000 0000 0000 0010 = 2 >>> Reverse Run
= 0000 0000 0000 0000 = 0 >>> Stop
>>> Setting Frequency Address = 2 (dec)
+ Output Frequency Address = 24 (hex) = 36 (dec)
+ Output Voltage Address = 25 (hex) = 37 (dec)
+ Output Current Address = 26 (hex) = 38 (dec)
Samkoon HMI Modbus Parameters Setting
We have set the communication parameters of the Yaskawa V1000 inverter like that, the same settings for the Samkoon HMI
