Today would like to write a tutorial for you to use Mitsubishi FX3U PLC (combined with FX3U-485ADP-MB Module) to control Schneider ATV312 Series inverters.

Schneider ATV312 Configuration

In order for the Schneider ATV312 inverter to communicate with Modbus-RTU, we need to set the parameters as below.

Register for Control Address

>>> Control Word Address = 8501 (Decimal) = 2135 (Hexa)

+ Set 2135 = 6: System Start

+ Set 2135 = 128: System Reset

+ Set 2135 = 15: Forward Run

+ Set 2135 = 2063: Reverse Run

+ Set 2135 = 4111: Stop

>>> Frequency Set Address = 8502 (Decimal) = 2136 (Hexa)

Register for Monitoring Address

>>> Frequency Output Address = 3202 (Decimal) = C82 (Hexa)

>>> Current Output Address = 3204 (Decimal) = C84 (Hexa)
