In the previous article, plc247.com wrote an article to guide you to use the Siemens S7-1200 PLC to generate pulses to control the Panasonic Minas A6 Servo in the simplest and easiest way possible.
Today I would like to continue to guide you to use another type of PLC to control Panasonic Minas A6 which is Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 PLC (we need to choose Model with DC FET outputs, plc247.com uses Model 1763-L16BBB)

Below is the simplest connection diagram for MicroLogix 1100 PLC to control Panasonic Minas-A6 Servo (Minas A5 Servo same)

Here are the basic parameters we need to install for Panasonic Minas-A6 Servo
In this Project, plc247.com is set up as shown in the table below )and I recommend that you install it like that)
MicroLogix 1100 “Pulse Train Output” Setting
+ MicroLogix 1100 (1763-L16BBB) supports 2 pulse channels with 40kHz frequency, in this project we use “Channel 0”
Note: Default “OUT-Output” parameter will be “-1”, we need to change it to “2” or “3” otherwise PLC will report an error
