+ Need to buy Omron E5CC Controller with RS485 support (In this project plc247.com uses Model E5CC-RX2ASM-802)
Note: If the communication distance is >50m, there is no need to use a 120Ω Terminal Resistor
Omron E5CC Modbus-RTU Parameters Setting
In order for Inovance PLC to monitor and control Omron E5CC with Modbus-RTU, we need to install the following communication parameters for Omron E5CC controller:
Omron E5CC Modbus Registers Address
>>> Present Value (PV) Address = 2000 (hexa)
>>> Setting Value (SV) Address = 2103 (hexa)
PLC Inovance Modbus-RTU Configuration
We need to set the Modbus communication parameters of PLC Inovance the same as the installed Omron E5CC Controller.
