Written by plc247.com

Hello friends! Fuji Frenic inverter is a series of inverters with energy saving functions, simple operation, suitable for a wide range of applications, used in all different applications.

Today plc247.com will guide you to use Mitsubishi FX5U PLC to control FUJI Frenic Series inverter through Modbus RS485 Communication.

Note: Use a 120Ω terminal resistor if the communication distance is far

FUJI Frenic Modbus RTU Configuration

We need to set the following communication parameters so that the FUJI Frenic inverter can be controlled by Modbus RTU

+ H30 = 3 (Control via RS485 Port)

+ Y01 = 1 ( Slave No.1)

+ Y02 = 0

+ Y03 = 2

+ Y04 = 2 (9600bps)

+ Y05 = 0 (bit)

+ Y06 = 1 (Even)

+ Y07 = 1 ( Stopbit-1)

+ Y10 = 0 (Choose Modbus-RTU)

+ Y99 = 0

FUJI Frenic Registers Table

Here is the Hexa Address corresponding to each group of letters

FUJI Frenic Registers for Control

>>> VFD Frequency Setting Address = S(07Hex) + 05 = 705 (Hexa)

>>> VFD Frequency Control Address = S(07Hex) + 06 = 706 (Hexa)

+ Set Word “706” = 1 >>> Forward Run
+ Set Word “706” = 2 >>> Reverse Run
+ Set Word “706” = 1 >>> Stop

FUJI Frenic Registers for Monitoring

+ Output Frequency Address = M (08H) + 09 = 809 (Hex)

+ Output Voltage Address = M (08H) + 09 = 80C (Hex)
