In previous posts, plc247.com has written instructions for you to use some types of PLCs and HMIs to control Hitachi NE S1 Inverters through “Modbus RTU”, today plc247.com continues to guide you to use Use the Delta HMI to control it.
Model plc247.com used is HMI Delta DOP-107EV, both HMI and VFD have built-in RS485 communication port so we can connect them directly.
Delta DOP-107EV & Hitachi NE-S1 “Wiring Diagram”
Connect the “COM.2 port” of the HMI to the “RJ45 port” of the inverter according to the following diagram

To be able to connect to HMI Delta via Modbus RTU, we need to set the following parameters:
+ Hitachi NE-S1 Modbus Parameters Map
+ Set SW5 to “RS485 Mode”
Hitachi NE-S1 Inverter Modbus Registers Address
