Today will guide you to use the FX5U PLC to control and read signals from Omron E5CC through the Modbus-RTU RS485 communication standard.

Omron E5CC Modbus RTU Configuration

The table below is the communication parameters that need to be installed for the E5CC (note: depending on the model E5CC has RS485 to support Modbus RTU)

Omron E5CC Modbus Registers Address

>>> Temperature Setting Address = 2103 (hex)

>>> Current Temperature Address = 2000 (hex)

Mitsubishi FX5U Modbus-RTU Setting

In order for the FX5U PLC to be connected to the Omron E5CC, we need to set the same communication parameters as the E5CC
