Weintek MT8071iE “Modbus RTU” PowerFlex 525 VFD

Hello everyone.
In the previous post, plc247.com guided everyone to connect and install the Allen Bradley PowerFlex 525 inverter.

Today I would like to continue to guide you to control the inverter through a very popular communication standard in the industry: Modbus-RTU. And the device used is HMI Weintek MT8071iE

PowerFlex 525 Modbus Parameters Setting

In addition to the basic parameters of the inverter, we need to set the communication parameters as follows:

Register for Control

>>> Motor Control Address = 2000 (Hexa)

• Set Word 2000 = 18 >>> Run Forward
• Set Word 2000 = 34 >>> Run Reverse
• Set Word 2000 = 1 >>> Stop
  = 8 >>> VFD Fault Reset

>>> Frequency Setting Address = 2001 (Hexa)
