Hello everyone, continuing to control the Inovance MD200 inverter series through Modbus RTU communication protocol, today plc247.com will use Inovance’s PLC to control it.
The model I use is PLC Inovance H3U-3232MT with built-in 1 RS485 port for Modbus RTU communication (other PLC models have similar RS485 ports).

Inovance MD200 Inverter Parameters Setting
In addition to the basic parameters of the inverter installed according to the motor (Frequency, current, voltage …) to be able to control the inverter by Modbus RTU protocol, we need to install additional parameters following
MD200 Inverter Registers
+ VFD Control Address = 2000 (hex)
- Set Word “2000” = 1 >>> Forward Run
- Set Word “2000” = 2 >>> Reverse Run
- Set Word “2000” = 6 >>> Stop
+ Set Frequency Address = 1000 (hex)
>>> Frequency Reference = (0 to 10000 dec) ~ (0 to VFD Max Frequency)
- Output Frequency Address = 1001 (hex)
Output Voltage Address = 1003 (hex)
Output Current Address = 1004 (hex)
