FX3U “Stepping Motor” Control Tutorial

Hello everyone!
In previous articles, showed you how to use PLC Mitsubishi FX3U to control other types of Servos such as Yaskawa Sigma 7, Mitsubishi MR-J4-A.

Today will guide you to use the FX3U PLC to generate pulses to control Stepping Motor in the simplest and most concise way.

Mitsubishi FX3U & Stepping Motor “Wiring Diagram”

Note: Most stepper motor can only control = 5V signal, with DM542 Driver can control both 5V or 24V

+ Stepping Driver Setting 1000PLS = 1Revolution

+ R= 2K2Ω: Reduce voltage from 24VDC to 5VDC
